The team have been up to Colera for an acclimatisation walk.
yesterday the team carried to a load to Camp 1. And today is a rest day at base camp. The team will then begin to move up the mountain.
After an excellent day trekking in to base camp the team have now summited on Cerro Bonete at 5052m. This is to prepare them for moving higher on the mountain, acclimatisation is going well.
Yesterday the team went on an acclimatisation hike to the South Face
Due to glacier instability the Vacas Valley route has been closed by the national park. The team have therefore began their journey on the Horcones Valley side of the mountain.
The Team have arrived in Mendoza and today they travel to Puente de Inca.
Pablo is a climbing and ski guide, living and working in Argentina. He works on our Aconcagua expeditions, but has also led expeditions for Adventure Peaks to Pastore Peak in Pakistan, as well as Annapurna IV & Island Peak.
