The team have now traveled up to Penitentes and will start the 3 day trek into base camp tomorrow. They are trekking in with another of our Aconcagua teams, but as they are already acclimatised, the teams will split at base camp, with Carrie’s team heading straight up the mountain rather than having to spend extra days adjusting to the altitude.
