Alpine & Expedition Training –

The whole group have successfully summitted three out of four of the Condoriri Real peaks in the itinerary so far. On Wednesday morning they set out for the last two days of the expedition, aiming to climb Huayna Potosi (6094m) as the climax to their trip. Accompanied by guides Cecilio and Ignacio, the group have learnt the essential Alpine skills needed for expeditions, and have been able to practice these skills climbing Pico Austria (5100m), Pyramid Blanca (5230m), and the beautiful Pequeno Alpamayo (5337m). The teams have arrived in La Paz.  Over the next couple of days they will tour on Lake Titikaka to acclimatise before heading into the mountains.
