17th April Chris called today to inform us that all was well and the group were back in Kathmandu. Roy and Robert had picked up a stomach bug while at Gorak Shep which prevented them from going up to the top of Kalar Patar, everyone else made it and all are in good spirits. They will travel back to Doha tomorrow before arriving back in the UK on the 19th.

6th April We’ve had a report from the leader of the Classic Base Camp trek which departed in March. They’ve just bumped into Chris’s group in Namche Bazaar and everybody seems to be doing well. They’ve got an acclimatisation day tomorrow and should get their first views of Everest

3rd April We’ve just had a quick call from Chris. Everyone arrived in Kathmandu safely and they’ve been enjoying it’s delights. Tomorrow brings the start of the trekking after the spectacular flight to Lukla.

2nd April The team will be arriving in Nepal this afternoon. They will have a couple of days to explore the vibrant city of Kathmandu before flying out to Lukla for the start of the Trek to Everest BC
