5th Jan The team have all climbed Cotapaxi and due to the weather have decided not to attempt Chimborazo. They are going to spend their extra days sightseeing before heading home or going to the Galapagos.

30th Dec Everyone was successful on Fuya-Fuya (4200m). They have continued to acclimatise well and Keith, Pete & Dave R all summited Cayanbe (5790m) in some pretty miserable conditions. The rest of the team turned around 100m below the summit. Everyone’s well and looking forward tio the next challenge of Illinizas Norte & Cotopaxi

24th Dec The team have completed their first acclimatisation walk around the beautiful lagoon of Cuicocha Lake. They have seen two Condors circling high above, and a few of the members decided to creep up to take a photo of a brown bear, but to their surprise found themselves aiming their cameras at the backend of a cow!!!

The group are celebrating Christmas Eve in Otavalo before heading out to ascend Fuya Fuya on Christmas morning. All the team are well and wishing everyone back home a Merry Christmas.

22nd Dec All the team have now arrived safely in Quito.

21st Dec  The team will fly out from the UK today.
