Summit success! Connor and the team summited in beautiful weather and are now back in the valley.
29th July
The team are down from their trek to Syltrankel Lake, where they were camping at 3200m and trekking higher for acclimitsation. Tomorrow they head up to the Gara Bashi Barrels on the side of Elbrus where they will continue to acclimitise, and from where they will stage their summit bid later this week,
