Great experience. Excellent in-country team. Very organised operation. Ken's [trip leader] a great guy, lots of interesting stories about his past expeditions. Very approachable. No complaints. Mongolia is an incredible place, I'm very happy with my choice of expedition.

[Good] value for money, adventure and cultural insights to fascinating country. The hotel in Ulaanbaatar was beyond my expectations...amazing range, quantity and quality of food on the trek and at camps. The cook was fantastic. The highlights - an enjoyable trip made better by a very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable English speaking guide. Extras like the final meal in Olgi held in a Ger and with an entertaining folk show. The wonderful opportunity to visit families in their Ger and see the Eagle Hunter with his bird.

Excellent service, fantastic expedition, excellent guides. All three Mongolian Guides were excellent. Sannu in particular not only had excellent technical skills but also very good soft skills, and I appreciated how well he matched his pace to my slow pace. Aldra was excellent in every respect, quickly getting to know our capabilities and limitations, friendly, informative, making good decisions, with all the hard and soft skills expected of the main guide. Jude was excellent in every respect. Her personal skills were great, and she quickly fitted in with a group who already knew each other. Her people management was excellent. Faced with a group of experienced leaders, some of whom had qualifications equivalent or higher than her own, she was not daunted but took her time to get to know everyone's capabilities and limitations (e.g. although I have various qualifications, I am now much slower and less agile, mentally as well as physically, than I used to be). She was always extremely diplomatic (e.g. when I put my crampons on the wrong feet, she didn't tell me 'Your crampons are on the wrong feet' but asked 'Do you normally put your crampons on those feet?), and she handled the pair who were always late very well by making a friendly joke out of it. Technically she was extremely competent and made good decisions, e.g. short roping on the glacier when appropriate, and when our local guide took us to a dangerous river crossing point she calmly told us not to cross there and led us to a safe place, helping us across as appropriate, with no fuss, and followed the situation up quietly with the guide afterwards. I couldn't fault her in any way and I am very grateful to her for looking after me and facilitating my ascent of Mt. Khuiten and making the whole expedition such a fantastic experience. Summiting Mount Khuiten was the cherry on top, but the whole experience of the life and culture of Mongolians and of Kazakhs, from the museum and concert in Ulaan Baatar to the ger visit, the final Kazakh meal and concert, the camels, the mountains, the trekking, and even travelling over the rough tracks was awesome.

Good trip. Jude [trip leader] was excellent. Kept good control in all situations. Not over-assertive and good fun to be with.

The organisation and adaptability of Adventure Peaks was excellent. Alice in the office provided an outstanding level of support for our group and nothing was ever an issue. Jude was an excellent expedition leader with the right balance between professionalism and leadership, and an understanding of when we, as adults, needed to just get on with what we were doing. It was all very good and well thought out, the food in particular was much better than the majority of expeditions I have been on or have led. Tents system worked well for the trip. Jude was very very competent at her job. I have met and worked with many leaders over the years and she knew what she was doing and was relaxed and professional at all times. I would not hesitate to send any of my groups with her, anywhere. If we run another expedition and use Adventure Peaks again we would wish to have her back with us. Thoroughly impressed all round.
