16th August – Success!! The team successfully reached the summit of Kilimanjaro and are now back in the Uk.

25th July – The team have reached Point Lenana today and are now down at Old Moses Camp. Carol decided not to go for the summit as she wasn’t feeling so great, but is feeling much better now. They are all looking forward to a night in the Hotel before travelling to Tanzania.

24nd July – The group camped at Liki camp last night and are moving over to Shipton’s camp today. They will leave for the summit at 3 am tomorrow. All the members are well.

22nd July – The team have reached Old Moses camp at 3300m, all the members are fine despite a heavy downpoor. They fed some of the monkeys at the Old Trout Farm Lodge, where they stayed for the night.

21st July – Nick emailed over the weekend to say: “Arrived safely in Nairobi after a slight delay at heathrow due to bad weather. The flight was excellent, very quiet, so everyone managed to get a lie down and some kip. We were met by a Danielle at the Airrport having got through imigration extremely quickly. The hotel is excellent and all clients seem happy and in good spirits. We depart for the mountain @ 09:30 local time. All are ready for the off”.
