17th October
Despite some international flight delays all the team have arrived in safely into Nepal and made their flight today to Lukla without any weather delays. So now the fun begins starting with their first afternoon trek to Paiya. The journey to Mera Peak initially gives you the feeling that you are leaving the big mountains behind and heading down to the foothills as you circumnavigate into the Hinku valley. This is a much quieter valley than the Khumbu, but as you head back North you still get some amazing mountain panoramas, but with a more remote feel.
