10th August: Chris and the team are now back in Barnul and celebrating their success.

2nd August: Chris has just called to report their summit success. 4 Clients 2 guides and Chris summited early this morning UK time. Due to worsening weather tomorrow they have already trekked down to Tomski Nochevki at 3000m. We don’t expect to hear from Chris as it will take 4 days to trek out.

The Team depart the UK on the 25th July heading for the Golden Mountain of Altai in the South of Siberia.

Chris Mothersdale has been climbing in the UK, Europe and across the world over a number of decades.  He started rock climbing in Yorkshire on Gritstone before taking on larger objectives both in the UK and abroad.  Rock climbing progressed to Ice Climbing in Scotland before climbing in the Greater Ranges in Europe, Africa, South and North America and Asia. Mountaineering has enabled him to climb on every continent and to explore many of the  the wonders of the world.
