Expedition report – Everyone made it back to the UK safe and well. Jean went beyond her goal of reaching Kibo Camp, David celebrating his 60th Birthday on the mountain reached the famous Gillmans Point. The rest of the team made it to the summit of Kilimanjaro at 07.45 local time for a wonderful sunrise. The last camp on the mountain was celebrated with birthday cake and Champagne.

2nd Sep – Jill called in today to say that all the team reached the top of Mt Meru this morning. They are now heading back down the mountain and will meet the rest of the Kilimanjaro group who are flying out tomorrow at the hotel.

31st Aug – The Mt Meru team have all arrived safely and have started their trek today. They will be joined by the rest of the group on the 3rd September.
