About Chris Harling

Chris Harling has nearly 30 years experience teaching and leading in the mountains. His wide ranging climbing and mountaineering experience has taken him to six continents, including several Himalayan expeditions. He is also Course Director and Instructor on our Scottish Winter Climbing and Mountaineering Courses.  Chris has climbed Mt. Everest via the North Ridge twice with Adventure Peaks. He is a qualified teacher and member of several National Governing Bodies including the Association of Mountaineering Instructors. He is also a trainer and assessor for the Mountain Leader and the Rock Climbing Instructor Awards. Aside from climbing, he enjoys mountain biking, running and white water kayaking.
