We are pleased to announce Nick Carey has won both First Prize and also one of the Second Prizes in our Annual Photographic Competition!
The 1st Prize was for the photo entitled ‘climbers on way to camp 2 Chapayev’ and the 2nd Prizes was your photograph entitled ‘Camp 2 & N Inylchek Glacier from 5620m’.

We are pleased to announce Nick Carey has won both First Prize and also one of the Second Prizes in our Annual Photographic Competition!
The 1st Prize was for the photo entitled ‘climbers on way to camp 2 Chapayev’ and the 2nd Prizes was your photograph entitled ‘Camp 2 & N Inylchek Glacier from 5620m’. The judges said the photograph stood out above the competition with excellent composition.
Second Prizes went too Nicola Wells and Gerard Powell with their photograph entitled ‘Cosmiques Arete and Mont Blanc’; in addition, one of their other photos has also achieved one of the 3rd prizes entitled ‘Via Ferrata’. The judges said their photographs stood out above much of the competition with good composition.
Third Prizes in our Photographic Competition was awarded too Lee Robinson for his photograph entitled ‘Cham Intro 2’. Our judges said the photograph reflected the spirit of adventure that defines Adventure Peaks and had good composition.
Prizes of £100, £50 and £25 in vouchers are available to the winners. We have also included a gallery showing all winners and our favourite highly commemorated entrants.

This competition was judged anonymously by professional photographers Angie and David Unsworth who are traditional film photographers working as a creative partnership, in the English Lake District making contemporary photographs with 10×8 and 5×4 large format field cameras.
