Ian, the course leader, is a legend. I can't speak highly enough of him...a smashing bloke. Easy to get along with, very knowledgeable. Someone I think very highly of. Everything was spot on.

Adventure peaks made special arrangements to put this course on for four of us, with two instructors, over a weekend to suit us. My guide, Tom, was a superb - he comfortably pushed my climbing to a new level, literally and we all thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend! Tom's knowledge of suitable crags and routes meant that we got the most out of each climb, without being pushed too far too soon, but with plenty of new skills and confidence being picked up along the way, with both days being tailored to suit our ability and what we wanted from the course. I got much more out of the weekend than I'd expected, climbing as well as tips on general hill & mountain-craft too.

If Carlsberg made rock climbing instructors, Paul would be it, great guy! His tuition was perfect and I learnt a lot from him. All my expectations were met and more brilliant weekend of climbing now ready to tick off the grades.

Nick is a very experienced and skilled instructor that provided instruction at my pace and build my knowledge and confidence despite my experience. Would highly recommend.

Your guide was excellent, expert and accommodating to our level. Frances change location based on the weather, our clothing and our ability. All worked out perfectly. Myself and my daughter really enjoyed the course and intend to do another.

I did this course with my daughter and we really enjoyed it. Francis the instructor was brilliant and we learnt a lot and got a real appetite for doing more outside. Very enjoyable two days!

Nick was brilliant and very accommodating when we decided that napes Needle would need some of the group waiting whilst others climbed. Big day scrambling up ill crag instead. Great fun! Thank you to all who are involved in making the day happen.
