8th Aug – The agent has emailed today to say that Paul and local guide Algo Namgyl reached the summit of Stok Kangri at 9:30am local time. The summit was misty but that didn’t deter Paul’s emotional celebrations. He will arrive back in Leh tomorrow where he will be reunited with David.

5th Aug – The agent has emailed us today to say that David has returned from the high camp of Nimaling. He has decided to return back to Leh as he felt he would not be strong enough to climb Stok Kangri, he is tired but fine. Paul is fine and is progressing as originally planned.

1st Aug – The agent has emailed us today to say all is fine with David and Paul. They will reach Thachungtse today. The weather so far has been dry and hot, but now they are gaining some altitude it will be far more pleasant to trek in.

 

28th July – David and Paul will trek to Rumbak today at 3900m. Tomorrow they will head over to the base camp of the Ganda La and cross the Ganda pass on Saturday.

 

27th July – David and Paul safely arrived in Leh on Monday. They were met by our local agent and were briefed before commencing the trek to base camp on Tuesday.

21st July – David and Paul will fly out to Delhi on the 23rd July.
