12th Aug – The team are now all back in Bishkek and will head to Almaty tomorrow to catch their return flight home.

12th Aug – The team are now all back in Bishkek and will head to Almaty tomorrow to catch their return flight home.

11th Aug – After 4 days of waiting in poor weather for a summit attempt, the team didn’t make it to the top of Chapayev. The very next day a second Adventure Peaks team did make it to the summit during a spell of good weather. Unfortunately that is the way of the mountains. The team are all fit and well, with a good experience had by all.

5th Aug – The team have arrived at Camp 2 today.

30th July – Darach and the team have had a skills day and taken in a 4400m peak just further up the valley from Chapayev BC.

27th July – The group have all arrived safely and have made their final preparations ready to to head out to the mountains.

4th July – The group will depart the UK on the 24th July.
