17th Aug – The team are now all safely at Karakol after being flown back by helicopter from base camp.

16th Aug – They have arrived safely into base camp and are due to have yoga lesson this evening followed by a kebab making session over an open fire pit. They are expecting to leave base camp in the next few days when the helicopter can pick them up.
15th Aug – The team have decided not to go for the summit of Khan Tengrie due to the weather and lots of snow. They are on their way down to base camp as i write this.
12th Aug – The team are all now at camp 3. Paddy and two of the team will make an attempt tomorrow on Khan Tengri, the rest of the group will go with Zac on Saturday.
11th Aug – The team are currently at camp 2, along with the Tien Shan Peaks & Khan Tengri Expedition team lead by Zac Poulton, and both teams will be following a similar itinerary for the next few days as they head to the summit of Khan Tengri. They plan to move up to the Col tomorrow, then followed by a rest day. The team aim to make a summit bid on or around Saturday dependant upon the weather, which is looking good for the next few days.
7th Aug – Paddy called in today to update us on the teams progress in the unclimbed area and their plans for Khan Tengri. The team climbed 12 peaks in total up to a height of 4600m. Six of the peaks were considered spot heights from the map and six were peaks in their own right. The routes varied in difficulty from Scottish Grade II – IV with some fantastic couloirs and rocky ridges. The team will be heading up to Camp 1 on Khan Tengri tomorrow.
5th Aug – The team are now at Khan Tengri BC. They will make there first carry to camp 1 tomorrow.
29th July – The team climbed there first unclimbed peak today, reaching a height of 4200m.
27th July – Paddy called in today, the group have arrived at there planned base camp after an exciting off road journey in their six wheel truck. The weather has bee good so far and the conditions look great. Everyone is relaxing before heading out for their first recce of the surrounding peaks.
26th July – The group have all arrived safely and have made their final preparations ready to to head out to the mountains.
4th July – The group will depart the UK on the 24th July.
