24th Oct The team are now back in Kathmandu and enjoying a day sightseeing before flying back home tomorrow.
20th Oct Chris rang today in today the team are now down at Dingboche after climbing Kalar Patar. Chris said the night at BC was bitterly cold but worth it. The team will make its way down to Namche tomorrow.
17th Oct Chris has called in today to say that the team are now sitting in Everest Base Camp enjoying the views of the Khumbu Ice Fall and the surrounding Panorama of Pumori, Lingtern and Nuptse. The weather has been fantastic giving magnificent views from From Gokyo Ri and the Cho La Pass. Tomorrow the group will head down to Gorak Shep and ascend Kalar Patar before taking a leisurely trek back to Lukla via Namche.
13th Oct Chris phoned with news that the team have reached Gokyo. They are all well and have enjoyed good weather although there is snow today. He plans to call again in a couple of days.
8th Oct Lukla Air Crash. We have checked with all our expeditions and can confirm that none of our groups were involved in the aircraft accident at Lukla Airport on the morning of Wednesday 8th October. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragic event.
Chris called from Namche Bazaar where the team are spending a rest day to aid their acclimatisation. Everyone is well and enjoying their first views of Everest.
4th Oct The team will depart from the UK today, they will aim to fly to Lukla on the 6th.
